Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Nonprofits Pricing - UK

Not for Profits (NFPs) can be eligible to receive discounted Microsoft licensing and pricing (see more on eligibility below). This gives you access to the same subscriptions but with a great cost reduction of around 75%. This gives non-profits the ability to use products and solutions available to (and being used by) the largest commercial organisations but at a fraction of the price.

Dynamics 365 for Nonprofits

Dynamics 365 is great CRM platform choice for charities and nonprofits and benefits from discounted licensing. Discounts apply to all eligible user licences and there is no limit to the number of users. Dynamics 365 is licensed based on how users will access the system and what level of access they need:

  • Customer Engagement Plan = access to every CRM application of Dynamics 365 – Sales, Customer Service, Field Service & Project Service
  • App Licence = Full access to just one application, such as full access to Sales
  • Team Member = Light access across all applications for read access and limited edit

Pricing

Dynamics 365 pricing for nonprofits in the UK is:

  • Customer Engagement Plan = £21.90 per user per month
  • App Licence = £17.90 per user per month
  • Team Member = £1.90 per user per month

You should also be aware of potential additional costs, such as an additional sandbox instance (you do get one free included) or any additional database storage.

We recommend talking to your CRM partner, as they will be able to advise ways of making your solution meet your requirements while being as cost effective as possible. For example, reducing your Dynamics 365 storage costs (such as using Azure or SharePoint) or carrying out a licence audit to make sure you only pay for the level of licences you need.

Eligibility & Application

Nonprofits are eligible for discounted Microsoft licensing (which also includes other products such as Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility + Security) and free Azure credit. To check to see if your organisation is eligible you can visit the eligibility requirements page on the Microsoft and search based on country. As well as checking your organisation’s eligibility you will see what users are eligible.

In order to receive discounted licensing, you can either apply directly through Microsoft here or speak to your Microsoft partner. Speaking to a partner doesn’t mean you need to buy support through them but can be helpful so that they can advise on the best licensing options (as Microsoft licensing can be notoriously difficult!) – if you don’t have a partner please get in touch.
