Graduate Software Developers

The Role

As a Graduate Software Developer, you will be developing .NET and Umbraco projects mainly using C# and front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/Javascript) in addition to this you will gain experience working with SharePoint and CRM. You will liaise with creatives, developers and testers throughout the development lifecycle.

We will help to give you training and hands-on experience across a range of technologies while you work with our senior developers and consultants, allowing you to grow your breadth and depth of technical knowledge. You will be working on exciting client projects, applying the new skills and technologies that you learn as you go. We encourage our graduates to quickly get stuck into the role and gain valuable real world experience, as well as working across various software platforms and programming languages with the aim of allowing you to discover your strengths and skills to shape your career.

Technologies you may work with

Web Development

  • Object Oriented programming (C# and.NET MVC / Web API)
  • Test Driven Development
  • Umbraco CMS
    Modern JavaScript frameworks (we’re using React + Redux)
  • Integrations with a variety of systems
  • Database design and development

Dynamics 365

  • Dynamics CRM and associated technologies
  • SQL Server and data modelling, understanding of normal forms
  • C# for plug-in development
  • JavaScript / JQuery
  • Integration knowledge

SharePoint

  • SharePoint and associated technologies
  • C# and RESTful services to support complex transactional processes
  • React/Redux and other modern JavaScript for rich, custom user interfaces

What you will be doing

Typically, you can expect to be involved in:

  • Development of web application components for our customers
  • Development of integrations to CRM/SharePoint and other 3rd party providers for our customers
  • Responsible for using our provided resources to gain knowledge in the technologies we use
  • Work on technical challenges from programming tasks to data migrations & upgrades of legacy platforms
  • Work with the testers to ensure features are developed to the required standards and specifications
  • Assist in building pre-sales demos
  • Maintain awareness of and follow the company procedures and guidelines, including security, regulatory and quality related matters
  • Comply with all relevant legislative and legal requirements, including industry regulations, employment law, Data Protection and Health and Safety

About you

We're looking for people that have a passion for programming and have the ability to adapt and learn new skills. You should have excellent verbal and written skills and be keen to learn as much as possible.

You do not need to have a specific degree or a certain result in order to apply.

It would also be nice if you have prior programming experience or experience using C#, HTML or JavaScript but if you don't then please don't be put off as we will teach you everything you need to know.
