The quality of our testing is key to everything we do; we’re looking for a talented QA/Test Analyst who can help us deliver top quality solutions to exceed customer expectations
Write and execute test cases to provide rigorous coverage of software solutions, whether public facing websites, employee facing CRM systems or integrations combining these and other systems
Perform exploratory testing of systems, using as much imagination as possible to reduce the number of issues reaching our customers
Support customers in their UAT – educate on effective testing techniques, help them compile scripts and triaging issues/questions raised
Triage and detail re-production steps for support issues raised by customers; help provide prompt response and great customer service
Work with developers to understand detailed implementation decisions to ensure software is working as expected
Communicate with developers to clearly articulate issues found, their severity, urgency etc
Understand the nature of resolutions to re-test issues and expose any new/additional issue remaining
Work as part of a cross functional scrum team to help where possible; aid with development testing, help developers to construct unit test case, generate date for testing
Help remove ambiguity from use stories and add more precise detail/acceptance criteria
Promote testing throughout the company - using your passion for quality assurance to coach, promote and inspire testing through the entire development and release process
Find ways to automate QA tasks where possible to make us more competitive – whether tests, date loaders, reports etc.
Core Skills :
These are the core skills we’re looking for, but aptitude always beats a set of skills for us, so don’t be put off if you don’t hit some/lots of these or are coming from testing other forms of software.
You’ll probably have at least a few years’ experience testing software, but don’t worry if you’ve got less than this, as long as you can prove your ability to perform quality, rigorous testing.
