Chorus is looking for a Technical / Digital Project Manager to work in our office based in Portishead, Bristol.


As a Technical Project Manager, you will have strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. A born leader, you must have good man-management skills and the ability to motivate others.


The client is specifically looking for an individual with proven experience in managing websites, applications and/or platform development engagements.  The successful candidate will work within the development team to manage small to large scale engagements including web, Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and other software development projects.


The successful candidate must have proven technical project management experience particularly in the production of large scale web applications and websites and/or CRM. This team member must have extensive knowledge of both the creative and development processes related to web and CRM development.


  • Experience in a significant software-based technical project management role, managing multiple streams of development
  • A good understanding of modern object oriented software development technologies (such as Java EE, .NET or HTML5)
  • A good understanding of both Agile and Waterfall-based project delivery methods
  • Strong planning skills, excellent interpersonal communication, client management and experience managing client expectations are essential
  • The role will be client facing in areas so good presentation skills are important
  • The ability to be flexible and a forward thinker is a must
  • Ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded, you will oversee your team, as well as those of the customers to ensure the best results

Day to day activities will include

  • Manage client communications on a day-to-day basis to identify and accomplish goals
  • Lead and initiate discovery and planning of client engagements including requirements gathering, scoping, budgeting and scheduling
  • Develop key scope documents
  • Lead and identify synergies between creative design and technical implementation
  • Lead the implementation and deliveries of projects and strategies
  • Control project budgets, timelines and resource allocations
  • Actively work with clients throughout projects to liaise between project teams and client stakeholders
  • Updating the project and resource plan using Microsoft Project
