Finance & Admin Assistant

As a Finance & Administration Assistant you will support the Finance Director in the efficient day to day operation of the Finance function. You will assist with the general administration of our busy office environment and to act as first point of contact for visitors. This is a full-time maternity cover role, beginning August 2020.

Financial administration

As Finance and Admin Assistant your key responsibilities include:

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices, credit card bills and expenses, accounting appropriately for VAT. 
  • Processing sales orders and invoices ensuring the correct prices and terms are applied and calculate and invoice carriage recharges. 
  • Maintaining strict credit control
  • Responding to client calls and queries
  • Maintaining a fixed asset register
  • Assisting in maintaining the integrity of the nominal ledger, undertaking analysis and reconciliation as directed by the Finance Director
  • Administering petty cash and processing receipts and payments
  • Assist in the preparation of management account schedules
  • Assist the Finance Director in updating, implementing and enforcing financial controls and procedures

Office support

We're looking for someone that can also assist in general office duties, such as visitor liaison, general admin tasks and supporting the Office Manager with general duties as required.
