Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you will be the single point of contact, drive relationships and sales growth from within our account base. As well as creating and implementing new ideas and processes into the business.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for developing successful, sustainable and profitable long-term relationship with customers, to include responsibility for escalation management to appropriate level
  • Ensure robust account development plans exist for each customer accurately
  • Accountable for developing a strong understanding of the customer’s requirements
  • To use extensive knowledge of Chorus services to deliver excellent customer service whilst maintaining a positive experience for customers
  • Identify and understand trends and opportunities within the client
  • Accountable for taking responsibility for own personal development
  • Relationship Management: Develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Define, develop and own key customer relationships and customer contact strategy
  • To profitably retain, develop and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
  • Develop effective, multilayer relationships with customers, demonstrating knowledge of their business and their decision-making process, right across their business to add value and exceptional engagement, becoming a trusted and valued partner
  • Own fully the customer relationship on behalf of Chorus
  • Act as an ambassador both in the external market and within internal stakeholders, demonstrating best in class sales behaviour and deliver excellent customer experience results
  • Identify value added services opportunities to sell and grow revenue
  • Gather and collate information to best manage the client
  • Identify and understand trends and opportunities within the client
  • Develop strong business relationships with clients
  • Work with various teams within the business to ensure our clients are provided with the best possible solutions
  • Manage and attend regular client meetings
  • Deliver presentations both face to face and remotely
  • Work to targets and KPIs on a daily basis
  • Work with clients to create roadmaps
  • If applicable, use the working below for certain duties:
  • Maintain awareness of and follow Chorus company procedures and guidelines, including security, regulatory and quality related matters.
  • Comply with all relevant legislative and legal requirements, including industry regulations, employment law, Data Protection and Health and Safety.
  • Demonstrate behaviours that promote our values.
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested.
