The Opportunity

As a 3rd Line Engineer you will be dealing with challenging technical escalations and problem solving to help clients find the fix. You will deal with new client take-ons, planned upgrades and rollouts through projects. You will work both on-site and, in the office, working beside the Service Desk and projects departments, adjusting in an ad-hoc way to deal with the changing priorities of the teams.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

As a 3rd Line Engineer, your key responsibilities would include:

  • Provide 3rd Line support, helping with complex problem and incident resolutions
  • Support and maintain Microsoft Server / desktops and Exchange / Office 365 environments
  • Undertake IT project work as instructed by the projects team. Projects include Office 365 migrations, Azure workload migrations, Intune mobile device/app management, MFA rollouts and implementing security technologies
  • Willingness to get involved and be a part of the service desk/ projects teams
  • Help mentor junior staff member 1st and 2nd Line
  • Maintain and update of client networks
  • Provide constant support to 1st and 2nd Line to help improve their knowledge
  • Ensure all knowledge base documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Maintain awareness of and follow Chorus company procedures and guidelines, including security, regulatory and quality related matters.
  • Comply with all relevant legislative and legal requirements, including industry regulations, employment law, Data Protection and Health and Safety.
  • Demonstrate behaviours that promote our values.
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested.
